These are green when they are young. They develop their color as they age, and get sun. They prefer morning sun and afternoon shade. Do not worry if yours show up to your house more green than black. It is totally normal. Also, do not order if you are very hot or cold. They do not like to ship when there are extreme temps. We also ship them small. If they are larger, they get damaged during shipment.
