R2 Vento Aeroweave Shoes

Introducing the Fizik R2 Vento Aeroweave Shoes, designed for cyclists who seek lightweight performance and superior ventilation. The upper of these shoes is crafted from Aeroweave, a cutting-edge woven fabric that combines lightweight nylon fibres with thermoplastic polymer filaments. This creates a net-like structure that is both breathable and durable, allowing your socks to be visible through the material. The Aeroweave adapts to your foot, providing the support needed for high-performance racing.

The Fizik R2 Vento Aeroweave Shoes also feature the innovative Powerstrap closure system. Unlike traditional Velcro, this system uses a ribbon that wraps around the foot, offering a secure fit with just two straps. The instep and midfoot can be adjusted separately for a personalised fit, and the straps are designed to be both lighter and stronger.

These shoes come with the new R2 carbon outsole, which is engineered for weight reduction and increased stiffness. With a stiffness index of 10, it is the stiffest outsole in the Fizik range. The outsole includes a wide vent inlet and deep internal channels for cooling airflow, helping to manage temperature. The cleat positioning is slightly further back than usual, enhancing pedalling efficiency and reducing knee strain, ideal for aggressive aero positions.
